Wow Tim, I've never thought about the seeking of the cheap and vulgar in this way. I wonder if movements like arte povera and even some "outsider art" have given more iron in the blood to the masses. Do you think? Or do you think movements such as these have just been perceived as anemic as well, because they still exist in the context of "fine art"?
