A Model for Matisse

Hey folks; here's a documentary film that I just found out about, being shown just around the corner, at a restored historic theater in Bryn Mawr. The subject is the fascinating story of the unlikely collaboration between a French church and several Modernist art pillars...yielding one of the most successful unions between modern art and the church.

I think the Vence Chapel is just Matisse. You may be thinking of Notre Dame at Assy (more images here) in the French Alps, as the one involving a variety of of Modernist pillars...
