Thom Lessner...catacomb artist?

This Thom Lessner (from Spector Gallery: www.spectorspector.com) reminded me of the Petrus and Paulus carving from the previous post. The treatment of the faces has similarities. Mind you, Thom Lessner is not really my favorite artist...just a weird connection. That strange, confronting, supplicative gaze. Right.

"Nothing special..."? Then why should I bother?
If you turn on the word verification feature on your blog settings page (under the "comments" tab), you can prevent most of these annoying comments. Some of them use automated programs to post their ad message on every blog, and it blocks the program. Others who do it manually might just not want to take the time, and so it stops many of them.
